Summary of Financial Highlights – Eid Bazaar and Eid ul-Fitar Events

Dear Members and Diaspora,

The PAL Board extends our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and heartfelt participation. You are the foundation of PAL, and your enthusiasm transformed our Eid Bazaar and Eid ul-Fitr celebrations into truly memorable and vibrant occasions of unity.

With over 500 attendees at the Eid Bazaar and more than 400 joining us for the Eid ul-Fitr gathering, we experienced the profound spirit of togetherness and shared values that define our community.

Eid Bazaar Financial Summary

  • Revenue from stall rentals and refreshment sales: €1,207
  • Expenses: €738.64
    • Venue rental: €110
    • Decorations: €239.09
    • Refreshment purchases: €303.17
    • Cleaning: €86.38

Surplus: €468.36, will be carried forward to future PAL events

The TCF received an outstanding €6,000+ through donations and pledges. Additionally, we are delighted to share that all stallholders achieved profitability during the event. We thank all donors for their generosity and commitment to making a difference.

Eid ul-Fitr Celebration Financial Summary

  • Revenue from ticket sales: €11,700
    • Expenses: €12,284.79
    • Venue rental: €1,500
    • Additional hall charges: €599.70*
    • Decorations and music equipment rental: €646.04
    • Food, beverages, and logistics (including disposables): €8,913.51
    • Children’s Eid gifts: €203.93
    • Cleaning: €271.61
    • Miscellaneous (insurance, etc.): €150

Deficit: €(584.79), will be carried forward to future PAL events

  • Additional hall charges: Unfortunately, due to issues such as untidiness in the restrooms, hall entry, and car park, as well as damages like paint marks on floors and tables, PAL incurred additional cleaning and repair charges amounting to €599.70. We have formally apologized to the Grevenmacher commune about these issues and are committed to ensuring a more respectful and organized environment at future events.

 

As we look forward to Eid al-Adha, we are inspired to create even more cherished memories together and to continue celebrating the unity that defines our community.
